The Isle of Man Issues Stamps Celebrating Festivals

A dancer performing at a Celtic festival called Shennaghys Jiu is depicted on one of the latest stamps released by the Isle of Man on 6th April. It is a part of five se-tenant 75-penny stamps in the Festivals souvenir sheet.A conductors’ hand to represent Mananan International Festival; a man reading at Manx LitFest; a female performer at Manx Competitive Music, Speech and Dance Festival; and an accordion player from Celtfest are featured on the other stamps.
Words related to the respective festivals are repeated in the background of each stamp. Words like “Dance” “Manx” and “Celtic” are repeated in the background of the Shennaghys Jiu stamp.
